Air Canada is launching two new cross-border routes that may strengthen the service’s ties with United Airways.

The routes, from Vancouver Worldwide Airport (YVR) to George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and from Halifax Stanfield Worldwide Airport (YHZ) to Newark Liberty Worldwide Airport (EWR) serve two of the plates United’s rotating routes and, within the case of the Vancouver-Houston route, will complement United’s service.

United at the moment operates the Vancouver-Houston route – one which first returned within the pandemic period in June as a summer season seasonal flight.
