California regulator proposes PG&E pay $155 million wonderful for 2020 wildfires (NYSE:PCG)

The California Public Utilities Fee proposed Tuesday that PG&E (New York inventory market :PCG) pay a wonderful of $155.4 million and take additional corrective motion for violations associated to the 2020 Zogg Wildfire which destroyed 200 houses and killed 4 individuals.

P&L (PCG) is already dealing with legal fees within the blaze, which state officers say started when a Shasta County pine tree fell into one of many utility’s energy strains.

The CPUC mentioned the utility did not take away two pins marked for removing, leading to one falling; he ordered the corporate to submit a corrective motion plan to make sure that timber marked for removing are recorded in a database and eliminated.

In June, PG&E (PCG) pleaded not responsible to 4 counts of manslaughter by the Shasta County District Legal professional’s Workplace.
