Past meat stated on Friday he would remove the position of chief provide chain officer after Bernie Adcock introduced he would step down, efficient September 30.

The factory-based meat producer stated interim chief working officer and senior vp of producing operations Jonathan Nelson will oversee the corporate’s provide chain duties as soon as Adcock left.

Past Meat added that Adcock was leaving to pursue one other alternative.

Earlier this week, Nelson was assigned to supervise operations on an interim foundation after chief working officer Doug Ramsey was arrested for allegedly biting off a person’s nostril.

Hovering inflation has dampened the corporate’s efforts to make its dearer plant-based meat extra inexpensive for customers, forcing it to chop its 2022 income forecast and reduce its international workforce by 4% in August.
